UnFilter

UnFilter is a visual communication campaign that reclaims autonomy in the age of social media distortion. Through collage-based posters, interactive anonymous confession cards, and digital platforms, the project empowers individuals to confront filtered realities, reflect on their identity, and reconnect with original intentions in a hyper-curated world.

A mockup of multiple stylized Instagram posts laid out in a diagonal grid. Each post features artwork from the UnFilter campaign, with bold and surreal visuals. Three main poster themes—Behind the Feed, Trap in the Echo, and Overflow—are visible. They each use vibrant, dreamlike imagery—distorted human figures, magnifying glasses, and warped liquids — to evoke emotional, conceptual impact.
A striking poster placed on a glass window in an urban alleyway. It shows a woman with short hair obscured by splashes of water and glitch-like distortion over her face. Text on the left reads “Behind the Feed.” The layered visual suggests digital fragmentation and curated identity. The UnFILTER logo appears bottom right.
A surreal poster of a sewer-like black void overflowing with turbulent, hyper-saturated blue water, set against a red and marbled abstract background. The word “Overflow” is subtly integrated near the top, with the UnFILTER logo in the bottom corner. The poster is mounted on pink-tiled walls, contrasting the flowing water with the rigid, warm-toned setting.
An eye-catching poster affixed to a concrete pillar in a public city square. A stylized, glowing hand gestures a thumbs-up in the foreground, with reflective, circular backgrounds resembling social media icons. The distorted text reads “Trap in the Echo,” with a broken heart motif woven through “ECHO.” The UnFILTER logo is tucked into the corner.
The UnFilter homepage features a soft pastel design with a calming tone. The page header includes the UnFilter logo and a navigation bar with links: About, Community, Shop, and a highlighted button labeled “Start Your Confession.”

The main banner has a large headline reading “Speak Freely. Stay True.” with a button that says “Ready to Confess?” Next to it is a digital confession card labeled “Alias: Lavender Lantern,” showing a personal reflection about feeling “enough” and overwhelmed by expectations.

Below is a Confession Generator with three prompt fields: “What is your core wish?”, “What is hurting you?”, and “What is helping you heal?”

The next section promotes a downloadable journal called “Diary of the Self.” It includes a sample journal card asking reflective prompts like: “What truth did I face today?” and “Memory of the Day.” A download button with a downward arrow is labeled “Download Template.”

The bottom section is a Community Wall showing anonymous messages submitted under different aliases, such as Cracked Dolphin, Rainy Ember, and Indigo Ghost. Each card shares short confessions of emotional struggles or feelings, creating a safe space for expression.

The layout is responsive and clean, using soft pink, sky blue, and muted cream colors with rounded cards and a gentle drop shadow for a comforting, supportive atmosphere.
