The Loop Room is a vibrant cultural hub where music, art, and community converge. Combining a record store with an intimate live venue, it celebrates the tactile ritual of vinyl and the raw energy of live performance. Through curated retail, events, and collaborations, The Loop Room nurtures emerging local talent and invites audiences to connect, create, and belong. Positioned as a cornerstone of Brisbane’s music scene, it offers a slower, more meaningful way to experience and engage with music culture.

The core purpose of this project is to develop a brand that prioritises fostering grassroots musicians and artists, as well as reviving analogue methods of listening to music, primarily vinyl. The Loop Room is a record store that also serves as a communal space, encouraging creativity and authenticity to foster a vibrant music culture. There is a growing desire for authentic, community-driven spaces in an increasingly digital world. By combining vinyl retail with intimate performances, The Loop Room fosters connections among artists, listeners, and the entire community. Developing a strong brand identity will establish The Loop Room’s unique selling point as a store and venue. And finally, will demonstrate The Loop Room as a cultural hub where the community can gather, connect and celebrate music.
