SALTBUSH is an upcoming, Aussie-owned brand specialising in alcoholic seltzers. Using the highest quality ingredients and incorporating unique Australian botanicals, SALTBUSH aims to become a premium competitor in pre-mixed alcoholic beverage industry. The brand celebrates Australia by showcasing unique Australian botanicals such as native lemon myrtle, Kakadu plum and wattle seed in their drinks.The drinking habits of young Australian consumers have shifted. They are reaching for the sugary drinks less, opting instead for healthier, premium alternatives. This is in line with the country’s growing better-for-you outlook, where there is a growing demand for products that both taste good, and carry added health benefits.

SALTBUSH aims to celebrate Native Australian flavours and landscapes through a refreshing, tasty alcoholic beverage.  

The purpose of this project is to create a strong, identifiable brand identity for SALTBUSH to differentiate from its other competitors.
The target user is 25-40 living in metropolitan areas within Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane. They earn a mid-high level income working as professionals. These users want to enjoy a social Saturday evening without sacrificing their Sundays to a nasty hangover.

Rosie Orr is a student studying a double degree in graphic design and marketing at QUT. She is passionate about blending design with strategy, with special interest in package design, branding, and print design. Rosie aims to design meaningful, audience-focused projects that connect ideas and emotions.
