Targetting a young adult audience, familiar with manga and looking for a way to express their rich-spirited enjoyment of illustration and the culture.

BRAND IDENTITY

Nameless - Inspired Fashion For Anime Lovers
My reasoning behind doing so is growing up obsessed with the culture, Miyazaki's works, Astro Boy, and more. However living in the Western world I was alone with my obsession, no outlet for the culture I enjoyed so much. Growing up with poor Western adaptations that lacked soul and respect for the source material, and merchandise that wasn't designed so much as copy+pasted licensed art of famous characters. This brand aims to be an antithesis to cashgrabs, not using famous IPs but new illustrations with great inspiration and respect for its inspirations. Capturing the culture as authentically as possible as a long-time fan, designer and wannabe illustrator.

Lachlan Nguyen is an Australian born Vietnamese designer, based in Brisbane. He draws inspiration from his mixed heritage, alongside various forms of animation and art from different cultures. Through this he's developed a diverse array of skills including, illustration, animation, branding and video-editing. His design journey see's him focusing on strengthening these skills and broadening his perspective everyday.
