Mystery Friends: A Blindbox Packaging Project

Mystery Friends is a collectible art toy for all ages, featuring 3D printed characters with unique personalities and minimalist design. Supported by cohesive branding, packaging, and a zine, the project combines storytelling and visual design to create a playful, engaging experience for collectors, fans, and art enthusiasts alike.

DELIVERABLE 01: PACKAGING DESIGN

One of the main deliverables of this project was the blind box packaging where it contained the list of possible characters, ripping tag, list of materials, production descriptions.

DELIVERABLE 02: SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

A cohesive digital marketing campaign for Mystery Friends featuring Instagram posts that contains: Product packaging, character zine. The deliverables highlight collectible art toys through playful storytelling, cohesive branding, and engaging visuals that introduces each character’s personality, creating anticipation for the launch both online and in-store.

DELIVERABLE 03: MINI ZINE

A character focused zine for Mystery Friends, showcasing each backstories, and personality traits of each collectible figure. Designed with a soft illustrative style and minimal layout, the zine brings the toy line’s world to life by blending the narrative charm with collectible appeal for fans and art toy enthusiasts alike.

DELIVERABLE 04: 3D PRINTED FIGURINES

3D printed collectible art toys featuring playful, personality driven designs with each distinct colours and unique traits. The collection includes Juno the frog, Bunyo the bunny, Pengu the penguin, and Gato the cat. All figurines showcase rounded, minimalist forms with small accessories, expressing their own charm and individuality as art toy collectibles.
