Visual Communication - Bachelor
EQUIPABLES is a jewellery brand that focuses on building a fictional world, aiming to bring back a sense of imagination and play in adult lives.

It is built from my own experience of joy in being part of online communities centred around media, and inspired by the loyalty I feel for particular brands and why. I wanted to combine the two into a project asking the question: “Can a brand tell a fictional story? And if so, could overconsumption be tackled if the act of choosing an item is steeped in lore and character building?”

Haruko is an emerging visual communication designer with a background in visual art, with interests in all areas of design. Passionate about human-centred design, motion, web, and layout, Haruko loves mixing her lived experience and art background in her works and hopes to continue experimenting.
